A D shape carabiner for clipping gear where you can get at it. Hard anodised aluminium alloy, so it stands up to weather and knocks without seizing or corroding.

Smooth spring gate with a secure close. Still only 20 grams, and takes a decent load for its size. The bigger gate opening suits tool bags, gear loops, harness attachment points and anything with a thicker bar to clip onto.
