Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Change-of-Mind Returns (30 Days)

We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return period. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition you received it.

  • It must include all original tags, accessories, manuals, and be in original packaging.

  • You must provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation).

We may refuse a change-of-mind return if the item shows signs of use, wear, alteration, damage, missing parts, or is not in re-saleable condition.

2. How to Start a Return

To start a return, contact us at info@legiongear.com.au with your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Change-of-mind returns: return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

  • Shipping fees paid on the original order are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

We recommend using a tracked service, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.

4. Sale Items (Change-of-Mind)

Items purchased on sale, clearance, promotion, or with a discount code are eligible for change-of-mind returns for STORE CREDIT ONLY.

  • Store credit will be issued for the price actually paid (not the original pre-sale price).

  • Store credit is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and valid for 12 months from issue unless otherwise required by law.

Important: This sale-items clause applies only to change-of-mind returns and does not limit your rights under ACL for faulty items. 

5. Non-Returnable Items (Change-of-Mind)

We do not accept change-of-mind returns for:

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or personalised products / special orders

  • Items marked “final sale” where stated at purchase

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged, or you receive the wrong product, contact us immediately at info@legiongear.com.au with photos and your order number.

We will assess the issue and arrange the appropriate remedy.

7. Warranty / Fault Returns (Australian Consumer Law)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a fault, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on whether the failure is major or minor. These rights apply regardless of whether the item was bought on sale. 

For approved warranty/fault returns:

  • We will provide a return shipping label and instructions.

  • Do not send items back without contacting us first.

8. Exchanges

If you want a different size or item, the fastest option is to:

  1. Return your original item (subject to approval), then

  2. Place a new order once your return is accepted.

9. Refunds (Where Applicable)

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection.

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Banks/credit card providers may take additional time to post the refund.
